In a nicely nuanced review, Tarun Sharma from the popular and respected ‘A British Audiophile’ YouTube channel says: “if you already have a nice pair of speakers, amplifier and DAC, the product I’m reviewing today might be just what you’re looking for…the U2 Mini produces a large amount of micro detail in an expansive and layered soundstage…with a greater sense of scale and acoustic mass…I tried the U2 Mini with three different DACs and the results were the same… it won’t deliver the software smarts of mainstream companies but will deliver better sound quality and that will appeal to many.”
