Over the last five decades Japanese micro-fabricator Nagaoka has become one of the world’s major and most influential suppliers of vinyl pick up technology. It may not the most familiar brand name but it’s likely you’ll have listened to its technology, as most of the world’s leading cartridge companies use Nagaoka styli.

Meanwhile its innovative lightweight ‘Moving Permalloy’ (MP) cartridge technology has for decades allowed it to champion the advantages of low moving mass.
