The new Vivid Audio Giya Cu (Copper) line retains the iconic Giya shape in a lighter, stiffer and smoother cabinet. In keeping with the Giya G2 Cu and Giya G1S Cu models, the tapered tubes of the G3 Cu and G4 Cu speakers are now contained within the main enclosure through the use of re-entrant absorbers. Additionally, the Cu range incorporates copper-capped upper and lower midrange drivers developed for the flagship Moya M1, lowering 2nd and 3rd harmonic distortion (by as much as 20 dB) resulting in cleaner midrange and a subjective improvement in the bass response.
